The role requires a deep knowledge in the design of work systems within which people succeed and contribute to the achievement of the company's growth initiatives. This role has principal responsibility for HR services such as the design of work positions; selection/recruitment of the right candidates, reward, recognition and compensation, performance development and appraisal systems, career and succession planning; and employee development and as such suitable candidates will need extensive experience of such systems.

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the HR department of the company and developing the HR systems and procedures for the attainment of the overall strategic business plan and objectives.


Main responsibilities will be to maintain and develop leading edge HR systems and processes to address the effective management of people in relation to the following in order to maintain competitive advantage:

*Staff Induction and Integration
*Competency Building I Mapping
*Management I Career Development
*Performance Management
*Reward and Recognition
*Compensation I Benefit programs
*Staff Retention
*Succession Planning
*Managing grievance and conflicts

Background Required:

A degree level qualification in Human Resources or related subject.
A proven track record and experience in HR practice (with at least 5 years at management level) with a medium to large sized organization. (Minimum of 300 employees of varied categories).
Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria and any other professional membership that may facilitate execution of job function.

Experience in Oil & Gas industry or consulting environment will be an added advantage
They are offering a good remuneration package for the successful candidate. They are open to negotiate for the right individual the salary package on offer however their remuneration is very competitive within the market and will be discussed further at point of interest.
